Niet alleen ik ben groot fan van Rens Kroes’ eerste boek Powerfood, de rest van Nederland ook. Powerfood staat dan ook hoog in de bestseller lijsten. I can’t agree more! Inmiddels staat het boek al weer een paar weken in mijn boekenkast, maar vaker nog ligt ‘ie op mijn keukenblad. Diverse heerlijke, healthy recepten kookte ik al uit Powerfood. De havermout met banaan is één van mijn nieuwe favo ontbijtjes, net als haar populaire Kickstart recept. Verder kwamen de courgette bootjes, de kikkererwtensnack en een eigen variatie op haar ijslolly’s ook al voorbij. En er staan nog zo veel must-bake’s op mijn lijstje!

Over Powerfood & Rens Kroes
Het boek is ingedeeld in 7 recept categorieën: ontbijt, lunch, diner, snacks, sweets, spreads en drinks. Zoals je van Rens (en mij) gewend bent zijn alle ingrediënten volledig puur. Zakjes en pakjes zijn een dikke no go in huize Kroes. Ik word erg blij van de eenvoud van de gerechten. De ingrediënten zijn goed verkrijgbaar en er komen geen ingewikkelde kooktechnieken aan te pas. Dus ook als er geen Jamie Oliver in je schuilt, kun je ook aan de slag met Powerfood!
